Amazing in the way you take a stand
Fire ignites when you take hold of my hand
Static sparks when you touch my arm
I'm forever entranced by your angelic charm
You see everything
Me, as I am, and how I fight to be perfect for you,
I couldn't hide anything from you if I wanted to,
You preceed my smile, the matriarch of my laugh,
Truly in everyway you are my better half.
I'm an open book to you alone,
Now that you're in my heart, I'm home.

A poem I wrote late last night for the one person in all the world who fills my heart and makes me feel whole. There will no doubt be a lot of poems about her as time goes on because nothing I can write, even as cute, adorable, or sweet and loving as it may be could ever express what she means to me.
